Honestly, the underwriting process was brutal. Maybe that has more to do with the cost of the home and the current market than Veteran's United per-se but the support staff that I worked with directly were amazing and held the whole process together.
Your underwriter for my loan sucks. I did not enjoy working with them. I had an allotment going to my GF in case I died while deployed. I explained that. He wanted to which I felt was calling me a liar. I showed proof and he held me hostage and made me stop my allotment. That’s insane. He said I could start it back up after I got approved. Where is that integrity? He sucks!!!!! I can’t say that enough. Look into your policy.
This is my second experience with Veterans United and both have been positive. Recommend people use them.

The loan process with Veterans United Home Loans was super easy. As a first time homebuyer I was concerned about the whole process, but it ended up being super easy. The website is also very well run. I would recommend doing a home loan through Veterans United Home Loans to anyone.
