Our real estate agent was Tina Magpoc, She was very kind to us and was super fast with getting us access to the properties we wanted to view. She was also on top of any paper work that needed to be done and was a great guide in the entire process of purchasing the home. I would highly recommend her to anyone, she is an amazing real estate agent.
The process was extremely easy and the websites and what I needed to do was outlined very well. Right towards the end there was some things asked of me that maybe were unique to my situation but I felt could have been asked sooner especially with my unusual duty schedule. But nonetheless it was a super smooth process and not stressful at all.
Everything went great until Tanya transfer it to the underwriting team for process. The underwriting process went way too long. I did my part by providing all the information in a timely manner. I think this should be a much smoother process. Turn around time for underwriting process is horrible. Every time new information is requested/provided, it takes few days to entire week to analyze. Almost taking 2 months to complete the refinancing process.
I've seen commercial about Veteran United Home Loans multiple times and decided to give it a chance. We sent and application, got in contact with Kennedy, pre-approval approved, met with an awesome real estate agent and in a blink of an we moved into our new home. It feels surreal. I know I can be pushy and ask for miracles, my wife always tell me to be realistic. Well I kept pushing for miracles, like not wanting a condo or any HOA homes. Having specific wants for my 1st ever home, both my wife and I were losing hope. Christina never let us lose that hope and would always reassure me that the house for us is out there. She was right and we have accomplished what I thought was impossible to do while living on Maui, own our home.
