Overall, the experience with VU was positive. The corporate website requires a verification code to gain access to a user's account. The directions say that the code can be sent via text or voice. I tried many times, but the voice option does not work. As a result, I could not access my account to review and sign documents. This was inconvenient for me, and added work to local and corporate staff. When I did not sign documents within 3 days, VU had to send me everything in hard copy. Of course, this meant a lot of papers plus postage. Recommend the voice option be fixed, or not offered if it will not really be an option for users.
My personal experience with the staff and members of Veterans United Home Loan was simply outstanding in every sense. They were very professional, courteous, and most of all, super-effective in communications. Without any doubts, you could readily tell they results-oriented & goal-driven in all their business dealings.
The staff at Veteran's united was warm, friendly and easy to talk to. The experience here is worlds away from similar experiences with even Navy Federal, where I had to wait a long period of time, couldn't schedule an appointment and talked to a loan officer who all but told me that she wasn't interested in my case in the slightest.
