People say buying a home is so stressful and we can honestly say that was not the case for us! Our process was actually fun! This was a complex process and there were some hiccups along the way however the team at Veterans United worked with me and my real estate agent along the way to work through the process and communicated very well. This is the 5th time I've applied for a home loan (both mortgage and refinance) and I have to say, this was the best experience of all 5. They were very responsive to emails, usually answering within a few minutes or hours no matter what day of the week or time it was; and a human being always answered the phone -- no annoying automated call menus to navigate to get a random agent on the other end.
