Overall, my experience with buying a home through Veterans United was great! As a first time home buyer I felt at ease through the processes and steps and I even got a great APR to start!My one and only gripe would be that during some of the home buying processes, I had to reach out a few times while we were waiting on certain paperwork to go through and I wish I could of had an update without asking for it. Communication to the fullest would remedy that! Otherwise, great experience overall!

Everything is easier with veterans United but when I refinanced I ended up with a bigger and longer loan, and higher mortgage payments.

I was always under the impression that buying a house would be a very stressful and difficult process. But working with VU completely changed that perspective—it was an unbelievably smooth and straightforward experience. My loan officer, Dustin Johnson, and his team were incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and proactive throughout every step. They always kept me informed, answered all my questions promptly, and made sure I understood everything that was happening.Their professionalism and genuine care turned what could have been a nerve-wracking process into something I actually enjoyed. The only downside to closing on my house is that I won’t get to work with Dustin and his team on a daily basis anymore. I truly can’t recommend them enough to anyone looking to buy a home—they made my dream of homeownership a reality, and I’m so grateful for their support.
Daren was so helpful to us. He explained everything so we could understand the process. He had the patience to walk us through several things, even though it took quite a bit of time, especially helping us with the technical side of the loan. Was a great experience. Cory was a huge help to me and answered any of my questions I had about being a new home owner. Even things not relevant to the loan, he was happy to answer to provide me with information. He was very quick with any paperwork I submitted and was very efficient in what he does. 10/10 experience
