In the beginning we had a couple of hiccups, but once we got placed with our loan officer the experience was great! Everyone is super friendly, and if you don’t know the home-buying process, they really make sure you understand how everything works, and exactly what you are signing. We would recommend them to anyone!
I had a great experience from start to finish with VU. To be honest, I had tried using them 5 years ago and I went with another lender back then. However, I’m glad I gave them another chance for this new purchase! I was able to complete almost everything through their app, the POCs were extremely responsive and always willing to call, their rates were competitive with all the big banks, and most importantly they remained flexible with all the ups and downs of home buying. Mike is dedicated, fast, efficient, and will give you an honest, no-BS answer. He will go above and beyond to make sure things go right. He was still sending me documents at 11pm on a Friday night trying to help me out of an emergency situation, whereas my previous lender took 7 days vacation and came back a week before closing to tell me he couldn't do what Team Mange knocked out in record time!
Overall the picture to closing was amply laid out by the team at Veterans United. At times I felt I could be doing more but my team had it already completed.

Third home I have purchased using Mr. Pitts at Veterans United. Due to an unusual circumstance with a seller backing out of a contract with 7 days left before close of escrow, we had to find another home asap.
