Jaime was very helpful from the very beginning. She kept me up to date on everything, even before I got the email/to-do list. She was super informative & gave us options on what's the best route to go after our loan lock was about to expire due to an uncontrollable circumstance. Carly our Branch Loan coordinator was excellent as well. She kept our communication with title & Escrow going very smoothly. She was the voice of reason for all the bumps in the road. Veterans United was easy to work with and our loan officer was great, however the rates are not very competitive compared to other military banking institutions. At time the rates were 0.5-0.75% higher. I would suggest either lowering your rates or allowing for a re-lock if rates drop after the initial lock. In the volatile market we currently are in this will help keep customers and truly allow the lowest rates for the customer.
As a first time homebuyer, it is extremely overwhelming. After requesting for a quote, Veterans United quickly gave us representatives and checklists to complete to make it much simpler to attaining that goal. Each member was great at following/checking up on the progress, answering questions, and walking through each step. We could not have done gotten a place without such a great team at Veterans United!

Need this to be seen and heard for everyone!!We wanted to thank our loan officer Kennedy Kugle who did an amazing job from the start! My husband and I came into this homeowning process very discouraged, especially being Native Hawaiian locals living here in Hawaii. We already had a terrible experience with another company. After explaining my concerns, worries and experience with a previous mortgage company, Kennedy was optimistic and told us "you guys can do this" from the get-go. AND HE WAS RIGHT! Nothing but green lights throughout the entire process. Kennedy and his team made this entire process seem too good to be true that this would be happen, but he made this pipe dream of ours become a reality! Of course we had to do our part and made sure to check off everything on our to-do list as soon as Kennedy and his team requested anything. But it was nothing compared to the work he had put in to make sure this entire homeowning process seemed like a walk on the beach. My husband and I definitely recommend Veterans United and specifically Kenney Kugle we will be referring to any veteran family for homeowner help here in Hawaii. We could go on and on about how amazing this process was for us. We can't thank Kenney and his team enough for making this experience nothing short of amazing.
