Jamie and the team were amazing!!! She felt like family, literally a sistah from another mistah. She answered a billion of my questions (and yes even my not so thought out ones). As well as kept me in check and disciplined so that I could finally purchase my first home. I couldn’t have asked for a better first experience with Jamie and the VU team!! If any of you out there are questioning should I got with VU and Jamie. I’m telling you that you can’t go wrong.
The first time we went through VU for our home was hectice but Wei Wei and team VU walked us through the process till we got our forever home. The second time was less stressful because we have faith in Wei and the VU team to make the process smooth and smooth is fast. Kudos to the team and Wei.... I have been working with Veterans United since the end of 2023. Their loan officer, Tanya Au, has been such a delight to work with. She helped us secure our first house and after our first year, helped us refinance to save more money. The choice to buy a house and also refinance should never been done without considering all your options; Tanya made sure we were well informed and comfortable about both loans prior to us signing and continues to provide updates even after everything. As a first time homebuyer and a Veteran, it’s been an amazing time using Veteran’s United. I will continue to utilize their services and recommend other Veteran homebuyers consider them when looking to buy a property!
I went into this process thinking I would still end up renting , but from the day I meet Kai and he looked at life on paper ... he said you can do this all by yourself ( I thought I needed a co-signer ) nevertheless he was right! This young man is awesome and knows his stuff! I found what I wanted in March and closed in April ! Wow!
Overall I want to say that Veterans United has been amazing through this whole process for us in buying our first home. Everyone was great and very helpful. They were so understanding and were patient with us. I would definitely recommend anyone that is looking for a new home to go through Veterans United. This has definitely been a great experience for us. I am very thankful for everyone that has help us in this new journey for us.
