Our loan Officer Weiwei was AMAZING. Got our real-estate agents to actually keep in contact and kept us informed throughout the entire process. ANYTHING we had questions about she got to it IMMEDIATELY, I DONT KNOW HOW'D WE GO THROUGH THIS PROCESS WITHOUT HER. Shout out to Weiwei Doseo 🙌🏿🙌🏿 I'd recommend her to ANYONE going through the process of home buying.
We had an excellent experience working with Veterans United from start to finish. From our very first conversation with Brad Mendosa, he was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely committed to helping us understand every step of the process. He took the time to explain all our options clearly, answered our questions promptly, and made what could have been a stressful experience feel smooth and manageable. What really stood out was the responsiveness and attention to detail. No matter how small our concern was, he treated it with importance and made sure we felt confident in our decisions and that we were getting the best deal. Brad and his team worked efficiently to keep everything on track, ensuring we closed quickly without any last-minute surprises. We truly appreciated their transparency, patience, and dedication. It’s clear they care about their clients and take pride in delivering great service. We would absolutely recommend Brad and the Veteran's United team to anyone looking for a reliable and supportive mortgage professional.
Rayan Ashburn was good at the start then was drooping the ball had a April 1 closeting date which we had a rental so we where forced to rent weekly.(cost us more money. Ryan making excuses think we had 4 different closing dates. Insurance for the property
he offered three different insurance i told him we will take your recommended.(bad mistake)then on are real closing day before said i needed to bring a check for 8400.00
which we did but in shock was had to come up. After the closing date he said he would help find a lower insurance at this point i don't trust him as he should have done this when insurance was brought up the first times (you have access to emails you can judge for your self.
On a good note Carly Kanoa was awesome to deal with....
Response from Veterans United
Hi Leslie,
Thank you for sharing your experience. I’m glad to hear Carly made a positive impact, but I’m really sorry for the frustration you went through with the rest of the process.
Having your closing date change multiple times, especially when it led to extra rental costs, is incredibly stressful. I also understand how concerning it must have been to be asked to bring a significantly higher amount to closing on short notice. That kind of information should be clear and communicated well in advance so you have time to prepare.
I hear your concerns about the insurance as well. You should feel confident in the guidance you’re given, and I’m sorry that trust wasn’t there by the end of your experience.
I’d really like the chance to take a closer look at what happened and review your file in more detail. If you’re open to it, please reach out to me at 1-800-212-5200 or ClientAdvocate@vu.com.
We’re available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central Time, Monday through Friday, and we’ll follow up the next business day if you contact us after hours.
Sincerely,
Claire S., Client Relations Manager

Tory Tuttle is like a diamond in the sand. Anyone lucky enough to find her as their loan officer it’s like walking on the beach and leaning over and seeing a diamond. But if you don’t notice the diamond, you’ll just walk right by it. So I hope that you’ll make sure to let her know how appreciated and valuable she is. It could’ve been easy for someone to look at my situation and just told me they couldn’t lend t
to me. But Tory, she worked with me for a couple years. When I first applied, I didn’t have everything I needed, but she put together a file for me. Had it sent to the side and when I got in touch with her later on, she still remembered me and still had my file. Then in the closing process, my ex-wife tried to sabotage my ability to buy a house by not providing the required legal forms on our old property, even though court ordered. Tory instead of saying we’re out of luck she found another way around it. We were able to use Equifax and the bank to verify the information we needed. I asked another loan officer if they had ever heard of that before and they had not. They told me if it would’ve been them. They would’ve told me I had to go back to court to get it fixed first. Now, instead of that, I have a house. I have a dream that I dream dreamed for 20 years. And it’s all because Tory Tuttle believed in me, waited for me and helped me in my hour of need. She deserves a raise and a trip to the Maldives for two weeks all expenses paid. Mahalo nui. River Hagg
