The entire process from start to finish was extremely easy. The staff are incredibly helpful and very friendly. The portal aspect is awesome. Being able to upload documents immediately and getting reminders about things that need to get done is so much more user-friendly than all the other mortgage companies I’ve used in the past.
We actually had gone to another loan servicer prior to using VU and we didn't have a good experience. We tried VU based on recommendations from family who have used them previously and praised their experience there. From start to finish everyone was very professional, quick to answer our questions thoroughly, and even got us a housewarming gift. Trevor and Jennifer were both so great and we will let everyone we know who is going through a house-buying process, go through them for a stress-free experience! Aaron was amazing worked to get me a decent rate and terms. There, was some confusion when other staff got involved. Once they had everything clear to close, everyone evaporated and didn’t hear much from anyone after that. Aaron sent me a text when the property closed.
