I’ve been saving for a lot of years for the perfect place for me. This is the first home that I purchased in my life. I’m 65 years old and this will probably be the only home for me. David Smart and his team really took their time with me to explain things and offer expert advice. They weren’t there just to answer questions but contacted me regularly just to see how I was doing and if I had any other questions. I can’t say enough about how pleased I was with the personal touch that Veterans United extended to me. They already had a good reputation with my realtor, so that made me even more comfortable. Donnie and Lynn went above and beyond anything we could’ve expected out of the loan process. They were incredibly patient helping explain things that my elderly parents needed deeper explanation in time to understand. They went out of their way to accommodate, helping us due to technological constraints, and they were kind, professional and extremely punctual throughout the entire process. I personally have closed on six different homes in my lifetime and was involved helping my parents close onto two of their home loans so they could understand some of the process and technology and my interactions with Donnie and LYNN we’re far and above anything I have ever experienced from a customer service perspective and acknowledge perspective from any other lender that we have ever used in the last 18 years. Veterans United was my last chance to procur a loan for our home! I had exhausted all other avenues. Veterans United gives you all the tools necessary from the 1st call! From the concierge to the credit department to the loan officer and everyone in between, they helped my wife and I get to where we needed to ensure the process was smooth! Everyone we dealt with has also stated that they'll be with us even after we got through signing the loan and title! That doesn't happen with standard banks!
