As this was my first time purchasing a home and having no idea what to expect, I had a lot of initial worry about how the process would go. The individuals I worked with made this so incredibly simple to understand and work through that I can’t recommend them enough to anyone going through this process!
1. Should have informed me that there was such a thing as a 1 time rate reduction if the rates dropped before our final close. I would have at least like to know it was an option for a small fee to reduce my risk. Don't know how far the rates fell because I can not see the VA Jumbo rate. Would be nice in these tough times to have the opportunity now and in the future with a rare reduction to refinance.
I would complete my "mic time" by showing the most respect and appreciation to Jamie and Howard.. they made my time with this ownership a stress low , detail oriented backing I would never ask for anyone else on my side to assist me with all my questions and times of unsureity. They made my experience and goal a pleasant and fun experience. Mahalo from the Heart for being there for me!

Veterans United was easy to work with and our loan officer was great, however the rates are not very competitive compared to other military banking institutions. At time the rates were 0.5-0.75% higher. I would suggest either lowering your rates or allowing for a re-lock if rates drop after the initial lock. In the volatile market we currently are in this will help keep customers and truly allow the lowest rates for the customer.
